Mission Statement:

The School Facilities Commission is established to oversee the school facilities in the State of Wyoming. The program shall provide, through the Commission, procedures, rules and regulations and policies for the planning, assessing, financing, construction and maintenance of school buildings in the State of Wyoming. The mission of the Commission is to provide adequate educational facilities for all children in the State of Wyoming.
Agency Statutory Authority:

The School Facilities Commission was established during the 2002 Legislative session. The Commission oversees all aspects of construction for school facilities. The Commission's activities are basically defined by W.S. 21-15-108, 21-15-109 and 21-15-111 through 21-15-121.

Commission Meeting Information:
The next meeting is scheduled in Cheyenne for December 7-8, 2009. The Work Session will begin at 1 p.m. on the 7th and the regular meeting will begin at 8 a.m. on the 8th.

An Executive Session is scheduled for 8:00 a.m. and the regular meeting will reconvene at approximately 9:30 a.m.
